Gheimeh or Qeymeh (Persian: قیمه‎)  is one of the most famous Persian and Mesopotamian stew of which the main ingredients are cubed beef, tomatoes, yellow split peas, onion and dried lime. This stew is garnished with thin potato fries or fried eggplant and usually served with rice.

The name qeema is an ancient Akkadian word meaning ‘finely chopped’.
